2014 U18 World Championship – Lappeenranta, Finland

The 2014 World U18 Championship gets underway later this week in Finland. Canada will look to defend it’s gold medal they won last year in Sochi, Russia. Ever year the U18 tournament is one of the biggest events on the scouting schedule for NHL scouts as they get final viewings of some of the best NHL prospects from around the world.
Once again this season, HockeyProspect.com will be covering the tournament. Director of Scouting, Mark Edwards, will be travelling to Finland to get his own last looks at both Euro and North American prospects. Rosters are still being finalized at this time but will be readily available here soon.
