HockeyProspect.com is pleased to release our first 2023 NHL Draft Ranking of the season. Canadian Connor Bedard tops our list of 64 players eligible for the 2023 NHL Draft which will be hosted by Nashville in June.
Following Bedard is Leo Carlsson from Sweden and another Canadian, Adam Fantilli, is right in his rear view mirror. At this point of the process, we would classify this draft as being very strong at the top but it does have some leagues that we would classify as weaker this year than in some previous drafts. The USHL, OHL and QMJHL are all leagues that we would classify as having below average draft classes as of our current evaluations.
