Alex Forsberg – Prince George Cougars – 2013 NHL Draft

One of the most skilled forward coming out of the WHL who is eligible to be drafted in 2013. Forsberg has excellent vision and makes great passes to give his team

wonderful chances to score. He is consistently dangerous with the puck, and will exploit any mistakes opponents make in the defensive zone. He has a very quick release, and gives the other team almost no time to react and try to block his shots around the net and the slot.

Despite his offensive skills, Forsberg must improve his desire to compete. He allows himself to be pushed around too many times, and does not battle for pucks as hard as he can. His inconsistent desire to win games is infuriating to watch, especially because of his level of talent. He is often a liability in the defensive zone, and must improve that aspect of his game in order to be successful as a pro one day.
