Spo #3 LD Åkerman, Tobias (2018) – D-man with good frame and physical tools. Several strong defensive plays without puck. Mature with puck and made lot of good choices but also couple of mistakes not passing early enough.
TPS #15 LD Anttalainen, Aleksi (2017) – Aleksi was the best d-man on ice and played strong in all three zones. Got great puck skills and vision which he showed all the time. Even though he’s undersized he played tough game and didn’t loose battles around cornes. Gave a one major hit in the neutral zone.
TPS #55 RD Kaskinen, Olli (2017) – Decent game for him. He got above-average hockey sense and made lot of progressing passes. He got some problems in his defensive game… Positioned couple of times pretty badly and did loose one-on-one battles.
TPS #70 RW Pajuniemi, Lauri (2017) – He’s skilled winger but this game wasn’t his best. Couldn’t do much with puck and was kind of out of the game all the time. He still tried well and played couple of great shifts working hard in the d-zone.
TPS #18 LW Prisjaznuk, Artturi (2017) – Artturi is a winger with good size and mobility. His shot is tremendous but didn’t really use that in this game. He was lost in many shifts and was far away from his best.
TPS #34 RD Viitasalo, Nuutti (2017) – Played flawless game and showed his defensive tools. Doesn’t take much of a role with puck but can play really well with it. He’s smart kid but could be more physical and mean in front of the net.
TPS #48 LW Nurmi, Markus (Drafted by Ottawa Senators 2016) – Markus’ night was subpar. He tried to shoot all the time but wasn’t a really threat. Did loose some pucks in the neutral zone. Should have played more simple game and not to try too much of himself.
