 A look at the top performances of the week featuring draft-eligible players

OHL

– Guelph Storm forward Zach Mitchell scored 4 goals & 1 assist in three games, including a PPG, SHG and game-winning goal. He is currently on a 3-game goal streak.

– Sudbury right winger Nick Baptiste scored 2 goals & 3 assists in 3 games, while his teammate, Dominik Kubalik, recorded 1 goal & 2 assists.

– Knights forward Bo Horvat scored 2 goals & 2 assists to help London extend their win streak to 18 games. He is on a 6-game point streak (5 G, 3 A). Meanwhile, Max Domi added 1 goal and 2 assists in the team’s three wins last weekend.

– Sarnia Sting forward Davis Brown scored a goal in three consecutive games.

– Jordan Subban (Belleville), Nick Ritchie (Peterborough), Nick Paul (Brampton), and Kerby Rychel (Windsor) each recorded 2 goals and 1 assist in three games.
Sergei Kuptsov (Belleville), Aaron Berisha (Belleville), and Dominik Kubalik (Sudbury) also picked up three points during the past week.

– Colts goaltender Alex Fontinos won his second consecutive game following Barrie’s 5-2 victory over the Sudbury Wolves.

– Jordan DeKort (Windsor) picked up his first OHL win in a 3-2 shootout win over the Sarnia Sting.

QMJHL

– Rimouski forward Frederik Gauthier recorded 1 goal and 5 assists in 3 games.

– Halifax forward Jonathan Drouin scored 4 goals & 2 assists in 3 games. He currently has 48 points in only 24 games this season. His teammate, Nathan MacKinnon, is tied for 1st in QMJHL scoring with 52 points. MacKinnon assisted on 5 goals in three games.

– Blainville-Boisbriand right winger Marc-Olivier Roy recorded his first career hat trick on the weekend for a total of five points in three games.

– Top prospect Adam Erne (Quebec) recorded 1 goal and 4 assists in 3 games.

– Acadie-Bathurst centre Patrik Zdrahal netted 3 goals and added 1 assist in 2 games.

WHL

– Portland Winterhawks forward Nicolas Petan scored 4 goals & 2 assists in 3 games and currently sits in 3rd in WHL scoring with 53 points.

– Everett Silvertips right winger Trent Lofthouse recorded his first career hat trick on Saturday night. He finished the week with 4 goals and 1 assist.

– Defenceman Seth Jones (Portland) scored 1 goal & 4 assists in 5 games. He is on a 9-game point streak (2 goals & 12 assists). Jones sits 3rd among league defencemen in scoring.

– Hunter Shinkaruk (Medicine Hat) scored 2 goals and 2 assists in 2 games.

– Curtis Lazar (Edmonton) netted 3 goals in 3 games, including one power play goal.

– Connor Rankin (Tri-City), Josh Morrissey (Prince Albert), Mirco Mueller (Everett) and Shea Theodore (Seattle) each recorded three points in three games during the past week.

USHL

– Lincoln Stars forward Luke Johnson scored 2 goals & 1 assist in three games.

– Waterloo Black Hawks forward Taylor Cammarata scored 2 goals & added 1 assist and he continues to lead the USHL in scoring with 35 points.

– Dubuque Fighting Saints centre John Stevens recorded 1 goal, 2 assists and a +4 rating in two games.
