A look at the top performances of the week featuring draft-eligible players

OHL

– Knights forward Max Domi scored 4 goals & 2 assists in London’s three wins on the weekend, while centre Bo Horvat contributed 3 goals & 1 assist. Domi sits in 10th among OHL leading scorers.

– Saginaw right winger Nick Moutrey scored 3 goals & 2 assists, while his teammate, Jimmy Lodge, recorded 1 goal & 3 assists in 3 games.

– Plymouth Whalers forward Ryan Hartman netted 3 goals and added 1 assist in 3 games.

– Jordan Subban (Belleville), Zach Nastasiuk (Owen Sound), Darnell Nurse (S.S. Marie), Dominik Kahun (Sudbury) and Davis Brown (Belleville) each recorded three points on the weekend. Brown scored the first points of his OHL career.

– Colts goaltender Alex Fontinos picked up his 4th win of the season (8 starts) following Barrie’s 4-2 victory over the Windsor Spitfires.

QMJHL

– Rimouski goaltender Philippe Desrosiers was named one of the QMJHL’s stars of the week after going 3-0 with a 1.67 goals against average & .950 save percentage. He’s 5-1 in his last 6 starts.

– Blainville-Boisbriand forward Marc-Olivier Roy recorded 5 assists in 2 games.

– Halifax forward Nathan MacKinnon scored 2 goals & 2 assists in 2 games. MacKinnon is 3rd in QMJHL scoring with 47 points. Mooseheads goaltender Zach Fucale went 2-0 while posting a 1.50 GAA & .947 save percentage. Fucale is tied for the CHL lead in wins with 19.

– Gatineau forward Emile Poirier scored 2 goals and 2 assists in 3 games. He leads the Olympiques in scoring with 15 goals and 27 points.

– Rouyn-Noranda right winger Mathieu Lemay had 1 goal & 3 assists in 3 games.

WHL

– Regina left winger Morgan Klimchuk recorded 2 goals & 5 assists in 3 contests, including a career-high 5-point game vs. Spokane on Saturday night.

– Defenceman Josh Morrissey (Prince Albert) scored 2 goals & 2 assists in 3 games. Morrissey sits in 5th place in scoring among WHL defenceman (22 points).

– Hunter Shinkaruk (Medicine Hat) and Chance Braid (Prince Albert) each assisted on 4 goals in 3 games.

– Curtis Lazar (Edmonton), Seth Jones (Portland), Cory Millette (Red Deer), Oliver Bjorkstrand (Portland) and Kayle Doetzel (Red Deer) each recorded 3 points during the past week. Jones had a plus/minus rating of +5 in two games and now sits 10th in WHL +/- (+22).

– Portland Winterhawks goaltender Brendan Burke extended his win streak to six games after making 29 saves in a 4-1 win over Everett on the weekend.

– Edmonton Oil Kings goaltender Tristan Jarry won both his starts, including a 2-0 shutout over Kootenay. He continues to lead the WHL in goals against average (1.50).

USHL

– Lincoln Stars forward Vinni Lettieri recorded 4 assists in 2 games, while his teammate Luke Johnson scored 2 goals & 1 assist.

– Chicago Steel forward Thomas Ebbing scored 2 goals & added 1 assist in both of his team’s wins during the past week.

– Waterloo goaltender Cal Petersen went 1-1, including a 3-0 shutout vs. Dubuque. He stopped 57 of 60 shots on the weekend.
