Mississauga Rebels vs. Mississauga Reps, Sept 25, 2014

Mississauga Rebels
REB #76 D Lugli, Noah – Noah showed how big and tough he was against the Reps. He was a physical presence the whole game, but at times was a bit too physical as he ran into penalty trouble taking 3 penalties. He showed some good accurate passing at times but needs to work on the consistency of his decision making.
REB #53 D Rettinger, Josh – Josh had an exceptional game as he was involved offensively as well as playing a solid defensive game. He has showed early in the year that he has a very heavy shot from the point, and can work the PP well. Josh’s game could benefit from a more aggressive game in the defensive zone.
REB #77 D Kiriakos, Nick – Nick played well and made smart decision’s distributing the puck to his teammates. At times his shifts are over a minute long and you can see it wears him down towards the end of the game.
REB #93 F Dickson, Aaron – Aaron played a good two way game and showed his skills and toughness while shorthanded quite often. He showed a high IQ level and was relied upon to play in all situations.
REB #4 F Gallant, Zach – An impressive game in the face-off circle and a high compete level helped Zach stand out against the Reps. He was tough to knock off the puck and showed a nasty side to him often in the game by throwing some hard open ice hits.
REB #16 F Evans, Finn – A very nice pass on a 2 on 1 rush late in the game was Finn’s highlight of the night. He has good size and good hands in tight but showed that his foot speed could use some improvement to make him a more effective player.
REB #23 F Burt, Robbie – Robbie continued to show his good hands along with his strong fore checking against the Reps. He did show some inconsistency throughout the game as he seemed to take some shifts off, where he didn’t get involved in the play as much.

Mississauga Reps
REP #65 D Nicholson, Ryan – Ryan showed his bursts of speed while rushing the puck. He made some good passes to get him team out of trouble and did a good job holding the blue line in the offensive zone. Ryan has some good size but needs to use it more often by being more physical in his own zone.
REP #19 D Isaacson, Nicholas – Nicholas was a difference maker for the Reps whenever he was on the ice. He shows a lot of confidence when he has the puck on his stick and had 5 quality shots on goal. He does hurt his team at times by being too offensively minded and leaving the defensive zone before his team has full control of the puck.
